  1. Title Verification:

    • Apply online through the RNI portal: https://rni.nic.in/

  2. Declaration:

    • After title approval, the publisher needs to file a declaration (Form-I) before a Magistrate under the PRB Act.

  3. First Issue Publication:

    • The first issue of the newspaper must be published within 42 days (for daily/weekly) or 90 days (for other periodicities) from the date of declaration.

  4. Submission to RNI:

    • Submit a copy of the first issue along with all required documents (declaration, printer’s certificate, content proof, etc.) to the RNI office.
